The Iora is a bassinet designed for infants designed to make parents feel closer to their baby while they sleep. It can be adjusted up and down and shifted through three different slide positions to be placed beside the parent's bed or in the corner, so the baby is always in reach. The mesh siding is breathable, allowing air to circulate through and gives you a quick glance at your little one. And you can store extra pajamas and supplies in the large storage basket beneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside cot that can fold flat. It also comes with a travel bag which allows it to be taken anywhere. Our mom testers found it easy to move from room to room and believed that it was a good size for a small bedside cot, not too big or too small. They also loved the large storage basket perfect for storing spare bedding or nappies.
This is an excellent choice for parents looking to sleep in a co-sleeping arrangement but do not want to share their own beds or whose partners may be prone to mobility issues, such as back problems or arthritis. Our mum testers loved the ease with which they could access their child in the Iora and that it included an optional reflux incline that helped reduce gas.
Our mothers appreciate that the mattress follows NICE guidelines. These are to place the infant in a Moses basket or crib on its own without toys, blankets, pillows etc. They also state that the mattress is comfortable and firm for baby and is easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as other cribs that are smaller on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier for you to move around, consider a different alternative.
